When you have a list of half-developed story ideas that are more than enough to keep you busy for a couple of years, how do you decide where to start?

I feel like I should write them out on post-it notes, pin them to the wall and then blindly throw a dart at them.

I have this problem all the time! Usually there is one or two or three that I've developed a little more in my head so I'll go with one of those. A lot of times, I'll start writing two or three stories at once and see which one I'm more inspired to write and then go with that one. And sometimes, I'll end up switching partway through because another idea won't leave me alone.

But the dart idea is also a really good way to do it.

I know this feeling and it usually helps me if I just start writing. in 100% of the cases I'll figure out if my idea has enough substance to develop into a whole fic once I started writing!
