Question!

Do you have any ideal situations for writing (or drawing!)? Are there any places, methods or times that make it easier to write?

For me, I have to write on my laptop; handwriting or using my tablet don't work as well. When it comes to planning a story, however, I have to handwrite it. I can't brainstorm and plan out scenes on my laptop as easily.

I usually have music playing as I write. I choose artists and albums that I know inside out so it's easy for me to tune them out and have them just become a constant background music.

I tend to write better in the evening too, for some reason.

How about you guys?

As clichéd as it is, I love writing in coffee shops. There's just something about the atmosphere that makes it easier for me to get words on paper.

And I need my cup of tea when writing, something to keep me warm cause I get cold very easily, even when inside.

I also like to listen to fanmixes when I'm writing particular ships.

I'm a morning writer! I do way better right after I get up. Plunk down with my Chromebook and my coffee and knock out some words before noon.

I haven't handwritten anything related to a story in YEARS. I would lose paper and I might forget a journal I had something written in, so I put everything in Google Drive so I can access it from any of my three computers (work, home, Chromebook).

The only music I can listen to is without lyrics. I love a 3-hour YouTube chillstep mix. Otherwise, I write without music. :)

Fun questions!
